Tham Khao Luang Cave


Tham Khao Luang Cave is a spectacular shrine with numerous statues of Buddha in stalactites clad caves, all of which is illuminated by the outside sky.

Tham Khao Luang Cave is widely regarded as the largest and the most beautiful cave in Phetchaburi. It has beautiful stalagmites and stalactites which are illuminated from the large hole on the ceiling. This cave also houses a Buddha image cast under the royal command of King Rama V as a dedication to King Rama III and King Rama IV.
